Thursday Morning Ritual
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds" doesn't apply to postmen anymore i.e. no mail for 3 days this winter. However it pretty well applies to the garbage man. "Did you take out the garbage" is probably the most common words spoken in the neighborhood on Thursday morning."
