Day 129 - Wednesday May 9, 2007

Great Garage Sale Day!
Doug and Marilee are ardent garage-salers. This day they hit the jackpot for things to use in the back yard (as if they don't have anything now!). Doug got some copper tubing, a wire thingy, a fish and a flower stand which he plans to make into a fountain some day. Marilee got a minature corn dryer, and added to her birdhouse collection.

Day 122 - Wednesday May 2, 2007

Garage Sale Day is Here
Wednesday is Garage Sale Day in Morton. There were major garage sales in two subdivisions in the western part of town which probably reduced the traffic in the east end of town. And - the street in front of the Fritch's had no parking signs everywhere as construction started this day on a repaving project. So there was a little disappointment amongst the troops.

Garage Sale Setup Helpers
Malachi, Jesse, and Elijah Fritch helped Doug set up the spinner to hold Marilee's magnet cards. The Coulter's are joining the Dan and Melanie Fritch family in a garage sale at the Fritch home.

Day 114 - Tuesday April 24, 2007

Garage Sale Season!
Doug and Marilee enjoy garage sales which now have started in earnest. Tuesday afternoons have become as popular as the normal Wednesday morning sales. It also a chance to chat with friends that you meet along the way.

Day 47 - February 16, 2007

A Winter Garage Sale!
Doug and Marilee are avid garage-salers. They couldn't resist stopping by one in Washington. Doug bought some potential arts & crafts things while Marilee bought some serving items for herself and small gifts for her friends. Doug talked her out of the wreath since she already has several hanging in the garage.
