Day 158 - Sunday June 7, 2009

The Coulter's went to the baseball game of Sanson's grandson, Phillip Fox.
Phillip, number 13, is batting.He was walked to first base.stole second base
stole third base -but never made it to home plate in this inning!

Day 157 - Saturday June 6, 2009

Strawberry Festival Panorama The Coulter's and the Sanson's went to Doug's hometown, Elmwood,
to partake in the Strawberry Festival activities - including the food tent.

Day 186 - Friday July 4, 2008

Fourth of July
Marilee grilled steak and lots of delicious food dishes for a special holiday treat. The Coulter's and the Sanson's were going to fireworks but ended up playing Farkel, listening to the neighborhood firecrackers and watching for aerial displays.

Clematis
Sometimes Marilee has tried to grow Clematis plants but they never seemed to succeed. These beautiful specimans are from Phyliss Sanson's flower garden.

Day 104 - Sunday April 13, 2008

Dave and Phyliss Sanson recently returned from an extended missionary trip to Malawi. They shared their photos and experiences with the Coulter's. They even brought a souvenir zebra back for Doug. The zebra sits on the front of the dining table.

Day 338 - Tuesday December 4, 2007

Triominoes
Doug is still batching it so the Sanson's provided lunch
and then they let Doug win a game of Triominoes.

Day 298 - Thursday October 25, 2007

Change of Plans
The Coulter's and the Sanson's made plans to go to the Peoria Rescue Mission Banquet. However Phyliss was the only one able to go when the time arrived. She stopped by to pick up the tickets and did some updating of her laptop.

Day 202 - Saturday July 21, 2007

Morton Car Show
Zeb is resting with a new friend at the downtown car show. Pinkie Flamingo has now joined the Sanson family. Pinkie is well trained and will accompany Dave and Phyliss as they enjoy car shows and pursue other exciting adventures.

Knee High by the 4th of July
We have all marveled how fast the corn has grown after a recent rain. It's sure beats the old saying "Knee High by the Fourth of July"
Fourth of July Fireworks
The Coulter's went with Dave and Phyliss Sanson and Phyliss' mother to the East Peoria riverfront to see the fireworks. The view was good and the show was stupendous but short. The traffic jam was long - 1 1/2 hours to get out of the parking lot.

Day 174 - Saturday June 23, 2007

Bible Prophecy
Dave and Phyliss Sanson took the Coulter's 40-some miles to hear an overview of Revelation from the Bible. Thomas Ice was the featured speaker and is the Executive Director of the Pre-Trib Research Center in Wash. D.C. The Research Center was founded a few years ago by Tim LaHaye and Mr. Ice to research, teach, proclaim, and defend pretribulationism.

Day 166 - Friday June 15, 2007

Canton Car Show
Dave and Phyliss Sanson accompanied the Coulter's to a Car Show in Canton. There were blocks and blocks of cars to be seen. Dave is fixing up a truck similar to this one. You really should have a neat hat, bright clothes and pretty pose to be noticed at a car show.

Valentine's Pizza
--a few days late but Monical's still had a special running on their Valentine's pizza. Doug and Marilee joined Dave and Phyliss Sanson for pizza and then a wild game of dominoes at the Coulter home.

Lunch Time with the Sanson's
Doug joined with Dave and Phyllis Sanson at Culver's restaurant. Dave is remodeling their kitchen so going out for lunch was appropriate. Remodeling, computers and Christian experiences were the main topics of discussion.
