For Mother's Day, Marilee likes to go to the Luthy Botanical Gardens for the annual Orchid Society show. She got a new orchid and some related supplies. Later she wanted to go to the Steak-n-Shake on the river.

Orchid Club members displayed their own orchids.

Marilee brought some of her orchids and the club repotted them for her.

Honoring Marilee on Mother's Day this year was undramatic - she had to nurse-maid Doug and fix her dinner at home.

Day 133 - Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day
After church, Marilee enjoyed Mother's Day by roaming around the greenhouse at the Luthy Botanical Gardens. She is wearing an orchid corsage from Chris and Cara.

Repotting Marilee's Orchid

For Mother's Day, Marilee was taken to the Peoria Orchid Show at the Luthy Botanical Garden in Peoria. Yvonne Hall of the Orchid Society said she would show Marilee how to repot her overgrown orchid. The result was 3 mature plants and 3 baby plants.

Day 132 - Saturday May 12, 2007

Mothers Day Flowers
The kids, and grandkids, in Sacramento sent flowers to Marilee through friend Lora Lea. They also sent an orchid corsage for going to church.
