The Coulter's became acquainted with missionary families Anderson, Johnson and Knowltons while residing in Brazil.

It's a Small World in the Christian Community

Pastor John Best was the Pastor of Gladys Neis for many years - and for the Andersons while on furlough from Brazil. Pastor Best moved to Lodi, CA where he pastored and discipled a new Christian, Tom Lane. Tom is the father of Doug's son-in-law Rob. Pastor Best's son Jim is still Rob's best friend. Pastor Best moved back to Charleston, IL and was able to participate in Cara's wedding.
