Grandfather Claude's Birthplace in 1967

Stagg's Cemetary

Marilee and Doug took their first vacation with Doug's grandfather, Claude Staggs, to his childhood home in tobacco country near Flemingsburg, Kentucky.

Doug received an interesting email from a man in Cincinnati who is going to search out family in Kentucky next week. He is not directly related to the Fleming County Staggs. However, his mother was raised by a brother to Doug's great-grandfather Raleigh Staggs.
