Celebrating at Steak-n-Shake

Doug and Marilee needed to take a little late night break after presenting the neighborhood petition results to the zoning commission. Doug was the first presenter in a very raucous evening. They finished off the evening with 3 games of Farkle (Doug won all 3 for a change).

Day 84 - Sunday March 25, 2007

Counting Petition Signatures

Work is nearing completion on obtaining signatures for the petition to reject the zoning change for Restmor. The final planning meeting was held this evening. The team will make their presentation to the Zoning Board tomorrow night. Doug will be the first of three presenters.

Petition Central

Marilee is busy checking off signatures as part of the petition drive to prevent a zoning change to Restmor Nursing Home to allow the building to become a business area in a residential area.

Anxiety in the Neighborhood

Restmor Nursing Home will be sold to Agape Counseling based on the approval of a special use permit. The Coulter's and many neighbors are opposing the private company because of the clientele they will treat in a residential area. The first planning meeting was held this evening
