The Magnificent Pumpkin Peak

The peak is located on the northeastern point of the Morton Mountains and overlooks an industrial park and Gold's Gym. The peak rises from the flat plain to become the highest natural point that man can ascend in Morton, IL. Unfortunately it is owned by private interests and is not accessible by the public. There is a rumor that interested people may be banding together to start a movement to make the Morton Mountains a public park.
