Day 196 - Friday July 15, 2011

 Doug wasn't pleased but the robins insisted (5 times) on building a nest behind a large wooden butterfly. Doug gave in so the grandsons could see the nest.
 It is amazing how fast they grow!
 This was the last day in the nest,
and this was the first night in the big world -
perched on the marble run.

Doug has to do his photographic "safari" in the back yard.

During a snowfall, Doug counted 22 Robins in the neighbors yard. Having not seen more than a few at a time, he tried to take some photos but they all were scared away. So Doug took photos of available birds.
