Traveling Home from Houston
The trees were in bloom down south. Things got browner as we got closer to home.

Cape Girardeau was another old river town where we spent the night. They have a nice waterfront with beautiful murals on the sea walls. The downtown was restored with lots of antique stores. The bridge was beautiful in the late afternoon sunlight. The suspension rods looked like solid towers from a distance.
