Doug has been extremely sick this day and didn't feel like taking a picture. Zeb said he would be pleased to show his formal picture on the blog. Also he wanted it known how he became such a big part of the family. Here's the shortened story...
Several years ago on a Sunday, Doug went to the emergency room with a blood clot in his leg. He was reluctantly admitted because of on-going blood problems. The Resident Doctor insisted that the clot was superficial and Doug should go home. After further testing, the clot was not superficial.
On Thursday, the Resident Doctor tried to justify his actions by saying - "when he hears galloping over his shoulder he expects to see a horse. Instead, with Doug, he sees a Zebra!" He said he is only trained to treat horses.
