Spring's Not Here Yet! Emo's is Not Open.

Emo's Clown is a Peoria landmark. People watch for the opening of Emo's Dairy Mart, at the intersection of Prospect and War Memorial Drive, to signal the start of spring. It can't be long as the Coca Cola men are on the scene. Emo's serves up soft serve ice cream, hot dogs, etc.

The Coulter's first home was in Peoria Heights and they passed (and often stopped) by Emo's every day. It doesn't look much different than 42 years ago.
