Day 162 - Sanson's 50th Anniversary

The Coulter's good friends, Dave and Phyllis Sanson, have celebrated their 50th Anniversary. Phyllis wrote the note below:

Just a note from 550 Hazelwood Dr, Kissimmee, FL June 2, 2012

As I look back over 50 years; “Where did the time go so quickly?” We were married 6-2-62 in Ottawa, IL, with only a few friends attending, and moved to St. Louis to start our life adventure.   Susan was born a year later. In 1966 we moved to a small farm near Wright City, MO.

In 1969 we adopted Teresa and Bud. In 1976 Dave and I were saved by receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. This changed our lives and we were led to move to Co. Springs, CO in 1979. When Dave retired from AT&T in 1988 we started volunteering for the Lord around the world.

In 1996 we moved to IL and lived with Fred and Susan (who will have their 25th this year July 25). Bud lives in NC. Teresa is staying with him and has cancer.

Finally in 2010, after being snowbirds to FL for a few years, we settled in Kissimmee, Fl (Disney territory). Dave periodically spends some time volunteering at Wycliffe Associates after the snowbirds go home. Currently we are fixing up our house and you are welcome to stay at our home.

For our 25th we toured Israel, Egypt, and Jordan. For our 50th we are staying home and going to SeaWorld /Orlando for a Hawaiian Luau dinner and show.
